About us

Scantrack is a South African IT and Software development firm that has been operating since 2000. Scantrack started out with a  focus on Software Asset Management and we developed the SYNC Pro product suite in this regard. We then went on to develop MOCCA POS, which is a point-of-sale system for closed-loop environments, and worked with numerous companies to help them manage their canteens more effectively. Whilst busy with this we realised there was a need to develop similar systems for the school environment, leading us to develop online systems for school tuckshops called LunchHub. Our ordering systems are able to work with biometrics and/or RF cards which creates a safer environment for the kids by making it cashless. Using biometrics, we then developed an access control system called Biogrid. This allows companies to quickly and easily manage their staff's comings and goings.  

Scantrack is part of the iDCorp Group based in the UK and uses its South African subsidiary Scantrack SA (Proprietary) Ltd as the global development arm of the business. We have developed our core expertise in the following areas: Software Asset Management, Closed Loop Point of Sale, Tuckshop Point of Sale, Software Development. 

We are primarily a Windows-based Software development house. Amongst our core skills are the following: Windows (.NET) development, Microsoft SQL integration, Web development, Mobile development (Andriod and Windows 8), and Microsoft Certified Partner - Silver Application Development. Scantrack has over 9 years' of experience in the Asset Management Solutions Industry. Over this period the company has developed a range of specialized products and services that allows Scantrack to deploy a unique value proposition to large and small companies and into the public sector.
